Nature Communications Publishes ECUST New Progress in Catalytic Carbonylation of High-yield Metals

Recently, Chen Yifeng’s research group from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, ECUST, published articles entitled “Nickel-catalyzed Acylation of Allenes with Organozincs and CO” and “Nickel-catalyzed Regiodivergent Acylization of Styles with Organizinces and CO”, which are the latest research progress in carbonylation catalyzed by high-yield metals.

The research work was completed by Wu Xianqing, a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, and Wang Chenglong, a doctoral student, under the guidance of Professor Chen Yifeng, with the strong support of Professor Qu Jingping. The research work has been financially supported by the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, the Feringa Joint Research Center of Nobel Prize Scientists, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Qixing Project, the Shanghai Sailing Project, the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, the Basic Scientific Research Operating Expenses of China Universities and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
